Now recruiting for Summer 2024! Be part of an active and engaging community! Our team is expanding and we are looking for outgoing individuals to join our team! Become a lifeguard this summer at our Inflatable Waterparks by obtaining your NLS certification.

This year our parks are better than ever, and we will have something for everyone. With multiple courses ranging from easy and relaxed to extreme and challenging, park-goers are sure to have the experience of a lifetime. We are currently looking for enthusiastic Lifeguards to join our team for the summer of 2024 and contribute to the success of our park!

Please note that a National Lifeguard Certification (NLS) is REQUIRED for this position.

Summer contract
Locations: Sudbury, ON
Salary: $17 - $25 / hour

Duties
· Ensure the safety and well-being of the guests at our park
· Enforce rules and regulations at all times
· Maintain the cleanliness and general upkeep of the beach
· Answer guest questions and concerns in a professional manner
· Recognize emergency situations and respond in an effective manner
· Organizing, fitting and clearing lifejackets
· Rotate between monitoring the shore and water park
· Maintaining a positive and professional attitude when greeting guests

Qualifications
· A valid National Lifeguard Certification (NLS) (REQUIRED) · Valid First Aid Certification
· Strong verbal communication skills
· Ability to work as a team
· Strong observational skills

Preferred Qualifications
· Availability of seven days a week from 10am – 8pm, weekends and holidays is preferred
· Previous experience with Lifeguarding preferred

Our park crew engage directly with our visitors at the park. This is a front-line customer facing customer service position focused on ensuring the best possible experience possible for every visitor. Delivering only exceptional customer service is a strong focus for this position.

Duties Include:
- Guiding visitors on transportation and helping load/unload
- Disinfecting life jackets and providing help to customers with sizing inquiries
- Providing direct support to customers on-site and answering queries
- The cleaning and daily maintenance of the park area, ensuring garbage are emptied and washroom facilities are kept clean and organized
- Managing locker storage and ensuring the delivery of this program is successful
- Cleaning of park components and helping with erection/removal of park

Qualifications:
- Open availability commencing June 25th until end of August
- A positive team attitude with a core focus on customer service
- Excellent verbal English is mandatory
- First aid training – must be current
- Customer service experience an asset!
- Bilingualism an asset!
- Swimming skills an asset!

Seasonal Position – June 22, 23 (training)
then June 28th until September 2nd, 2024 (daily)

The excitement starts as visitors arrive to the park. Our Park Check-in Representatives are the first point of contact upon arrival for our visitors. the park-based customer experience at Splash N Go starts with these staff members who are responsible for checking-in visitors, handing out bracelets and ensuring compliance with our waiver program. Park Check-in staff members will also answer questions and queries visitors have upon arrival.

Our parks are suitable for ages 5 and up. Children ages 5-8 MUST be accompanied by an adult at all times.
No! Our parks are suitable for the whole family - adults can have fun as well!
We are open from 10am to 6:30pm.
NORTHERN PARKS ONLY - In order to keep our park accessible to everyone, we have introduced an affordable access policy which will offer a 50% discount to ALL passes booked on Tuesday's and Thursday's for the 5PM session for the entire season

This discount will appear automatically when booking one of these sessions on the applicable dates/times.
YES! While we will do our best to accommodate 'walk-ups', it is STRONGLY recommended to book your session in advance to ensure your spot is reserved for you and your group.
Lockers are currently available at the Sudbury park. and allow for you to bring your own no keyed lock for free to use on the lockers. Should you wish to rent a customizable combination lock, a $20.00 cash deposit is required, and $15.00 is returned when returning the lock open.
The Sudbury park hosts a Splash N Grill BBQ where all your favourite treats are available, including hotdogs, hamburgers, cotton candy, sno cones and much more. Picnic tables are available at ALL parks on a first come first served basis.
